I’ve worked with Lynn on two photography workshops now. Lynn’s approach allows workshop participants to have confidence that what they see is unique and worthy of capture. Valuable guidance for photographers of all stages.

I took part in many photography activities conducted by Lynn, either as a course at ACP or various workshops in or out of town, all around the street photography genre. A particular benefit of Lynn’s method is that he doesn’t point out what or how to photograph, but rather elaborates on essential elements of stylisation adopted by important figures in photography and bring participants to locations where such insights may be utilised, in any light and weather conditions. Highly recommended.

Lynn takes a collaborative approach to his masterclass style, which makes it a comfortable environment to learn and try new things. He nurtures your own style and creativity to grow while adding ideas and perspectives that you would not have thought of yourself. Without his sharing insights into his keen sense of composition, and pushing me to try new things that I wasn't even aware of, I may never have realised just how much I enjoy what has become my own personal brand of photography. 

Lynn is not your usual photography teacher, that’s for sure. He is more than that. He is an artist and a mentor, a person with a huge knowledge of street photography and a great understanding of the human condition. It is true that you can learn a lot of things online nowadays, and I respect that. But what I have learnt from Lynn over the years has transformed the way I shoot street photography. He taught me about the passion and compassion you need to show, the comfortable shoes you need to wear, how the openness of your heart can translate to your eye.
